Our National Honor Society members took on a meaningful service project: Rearranging the library to improve the layout and create a more welcoming and organized space for everyone!
Libraries are at the heart of learning and connection, and we’re so proud our NHS students played a part in enhancing this wonderful student resource.

Panhandle Community Services will hold an open enrollment event at Rhoads Memorial Library in Dimmitt to help individuals and families enroll for affordable health insurance coverage through The Marketplace, Medicaid, and CHIP.
Region 16 ESC partnered with Los Barrios de Amarillo, The Panhandle Community Partnership, and West Texas A&M University to bring to host the 2024 Middle School EPIC Career Fair.
Students had the opportunity to listen to industry leaders in the Panhandle and discover new occupations. Students also visited the WTAMU campus and got to speak to current students and a financial advisor about scholarships.
November is a month of gratitude, giving, and global kindness. World Kindness Day is on November 13th, there’s no better time to bring kindness to our school and community. Small gestures, heartfelt thanks, and simple acts of kindness can create waves of positivity that extend beyond a single day. Join us as we celebrate!
JH/HS 2nd 6-weeks Award Assembly
The polls were open early this morning as elementary students cast their vote for their favorite. 3rd , 4th, and 5th Graders voted for either Harris or Trump. PreK thru 2nd Grade also got in on the voting action, voting for their favorite, either hamburger or hotdog. Students had their voter registration cards and received their "I Voted" stickers. Thank you to social studies teacher Nicole Coronado for this fun and engaging lesson on the voting process.
